  • I met Shirley only a few times while married to her brother, Ron, who suddenly and tragically left this earth last August. I feel his loss daily. She and Ron would occasionally talk on the phone and he would always visit her when visiting River Falls. He spoke lovingly of his older sister and told me how supportive she was of him as a young man after he left home and moved to Texas where he lived with her for a while. She was accepting of me when Ron and I married. I will never forget when she and Bev met us for lunch and how gracious she was. I got to know her a bit better at that time. She was a quiet soul and I liked her immensely. Rest In Peace dear Shirley. I send my condolences and love to her children and family.
